Track cooking progress without opening the door/lid to help maintain even air temperature for the best results. This thermometer is preset with 8 protein settings with multiple taste options. A bright backlit display is easy-to-read. The thermometer comes with a durable 6 inch, stainless steel probe and a 4-foot silicone cord with convenient cord wrap storage system. When food hits the preset time or desired internal temperature, an alarm signal occurs to ensure perfect results. HELPFUL HINTS: Digital thermometers are NOT meant to be left in food during cooking. The plastic and electronic components could be damaged with excessive heat. Only the wired probe should be in the oven/grill but should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 482°F(250°C) or in contact with direct flames. NOTE: The thermometer and timer function independently and cannot be used together. Programming one will disable the other. IMPORTANT: Thermometer will be hot after use.
